Lotus is born in the water and grows there only but water drop does not affect it, does not get attached. Always awakened

सुत्ता अमुणी, मुणीणो सया जागरंति

Unvigilant are not sadhus; sadhus are always awakened

Those who are not sadhus; those lack qualities of sadhuhood or devotion, lazy men keep sleeping. Those who keep sleeping, their eyes are closed and they are not able to see anything.
