लोभमलोभेण दुगंछमाणे
लद्धे कामे नाभिगाहइ
लद्धे कामे नाभिगाहइ
Rejecting greed with non-greed, an aspirant uses not the available objects of interest
Pure soul
भावणाजोगसुद्धप्पा जले णावा व आहिया
One whose soul is pure of thoughts, he is like a boat in the water
Accumulate not
बहुं पि लद्धुं न निहे
One should not accumulate even if more be available
Renunciation
वंतं इच्छसि आवेउं, सेयं ते मरणं भवे
Want to drink the vomited? It is better for you to die

एवं खु णाणिणो सारं,
जं न हिंसइ किंचणं
जं न हिंसइ किंचणं
Non-violence or compassion is religion but it is essential to have knowledge before its application
