Unprotected Cannot Be a Protector
अप्पणा अनाहो सन्तो,
कहं नाहो भविस्ससि?
कहं नाहो भविस्ससि?
You yourself are protection less, how can you protect others?
Dutiful and sweet tongued
पियंकरे पियंवाइ, से सिक्खं लद्धुमरिहइ
Dutiful and sweet tongued is able to learn
Riches may be or not
धणेण किं धम्मधुराहिगारे ?
What is the necessity of riches for drawing religious line? Good-conduct is the only requirement
Nothing is impossible
इह लोए निप्पिवासस्स,
नत्थि किंचि वि दुक्करं
नत्थि किंचि वि दुक्करं
For the desireless, nothing is impossible in this world
Towards misfortune
आसुरीयं दिसं बाला, गच्छंति अवसा तमं
Being helpless, ignorant attain darkness prevailing in the hell
Do not lengthen the talk
निरुद्धगं वा वि न दीहइज्जा
What can be said in short, let that not be uselessly lengthened
Speak after thinking
अणुचिंतिय वियागरे
Speak after thinking
Exterminate anger
उवसमेण हणे कोहं
Exterminate anger by peace
