उदगस्स फासेण सिया य सिद्धी,
सिज्झंसु पाणा बहवे दगंसि
सिज्झंसु पाणा बहवे दगंसि
If purity were possible with the touch of water (bathing), then many water-beings would have got liberated

सुक्खं खु दीसइ तवोविसेसो,
न दीसई जाइविसेस कोई
न दीसई जाइविसेस कोई
Penance – special is seen directly, but caste-special is not seen

लोभपत्ते लोभी समावइज्जा मोसं वयणाए
At any avaricious opportunity, greedy lies
