कुज्जा साहूहिं संथवं

Contacts must be maintained with the Sadhus

Eulogy means to know, contact or association. Association influences the whole life. It opens the door of progress. An insect is able to reach the head of the idol because of its association with the flowers. One small river or canal can reach far beyond its power by associating with Gangas, into the gem-filled sea. On the other hand, association with the crooked opens the door of failures. Capable of improving the self and others

अलमप्पणो होंति अलं परेसिं

Wise men are capable in improving the self and others

Stone-boat sinks itself and let others also sink; but the boat made of wood floats itself and allow others also to float in it. This is the difference between a wise man and an ignorant. Ignorant aimlessly wanders in this world and make the dependants also drift along showing them wrong way of life; but the wise men neither gets astray nor lets others go off course. They are able to liberate themselves and liberate others also, they are wise themselves and also preach others, they free themselves and make others also free. तुट्टन्ति पावकम्माणि
नवं कम्ममकुव्वओ

One who does not bind new karma, his past karma are annihilated

Whatever we eat does not go out through the doors of the body organs. Some of it goes out as rejects and some sticks to the intestines and what is absorbed there produces many sicknesses. Health consultants say that we should give rest to the stomach once in a week through fasting. When new intakes do not go in the stomach then deposited dirt will also come out. Impatient or sensual or sense-gratifiers trouble others; make them suffer. Selfish people are indiscreet. They do not differentiate between what ought to be done and what ought not to be done. For there little pleasure they do not hesitate to give lot of trouble to others. For their temporary pleasures, their tendency to inflict permanent afflictions knows no bounds.
