राइणियस्स भासमाणस्स वा
वियागरेमाणस्स वा नो अन्तरा भासं भासिज्ज

When elders (gurus) are speaking, preaching, then we should not speak in between

There is no value for the brilliantly shining diamond-like piece of glass in the eyes of a jeweller

लोभाविले आययइ अदत्तं
A greedy man always indulges in unethical means of living
Do Not Laugh Much
अतिवेलं न हसे मुणी
A sadhu should not laugh unrestrained
Infinite Happiness Should Not Be Destroyed
माएयं अवमन्जंता, अप्पेणं लुंपहा बहुं
For little sensual pleasures, do not forsake the right path and destroy infinite bliss
Interest in the work
किरियं च रोयए धीरो
Resolute take interest in their work
Contented never wanders
भोगी भमइ संसारे, अभोगी विप्पमुच्चइ|
Insatiated wanders in the world; satiated is liberated
